The basic Key Largo Kayak tour is "The Gilligan." (a three-hour tour!) These trips depart each day at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The actual trip time varies depending upon weather conditions, number of paddlers aboard, and other factors, but is a minimum of three hours, and a maximum of four hours from departure to return.
"The Gilligan" is a three-part adventure, a spectacular 45 minute boat ride Out There, over an hour of paddling and exploring, and the return boat ride. This is the most popular of our Key Largo eco tours.
"The Gilligan" is just $70 for adults; $40 for children 12 and under. "Locals" discount available for Monroe County residents. No rental fees or add-ons, all gear is included. Stranding on a tropical island is negotiable!
You can venture to the ocean side of Key Largo and explore North America's only living coral reef, but only on REALLY nice days, when the wind is light and the seas are calm. And, we only take a maximum of 4 passengers on our snorkel trips.
So, if you've snorkeled from a big, crowded boat with 50 of your not-so-closest friends, and you're looking for something completely different, call and ask about The Coral Exam.
For those who prefer not to get in the water, this can be your Key Largo kayak tour on the reef - it's a great way to see the magnificent color and splendor of our shallow reef areas.
Trip time approximately three hours. Call to arrange a personalized, more relaxing reef snorkeling experience. "The Coral Exam" is just $55 for adults; $35 for children 12 and under. Mask, fins, snorkel, and safety vest included. (note: wetsuit may be desired during winter months, we do not offer wetsuit rentals). So many fish!
You'll ooh and aah when you watch the sun set each evening over Florida Bay.
Our nightly sunset cruise departs one hour before actual sunset time (which, of course, varies by season), and lasts two hours. We cruise slowly through Florida Bay and watch the amazing variety of birds as they head to their roosts for the night. Once the sun dips below the horizon, we cruise back to port and watch nature paint the sky.
"The Ooh Aah" is just $40 per person, $25 for children 12 and under. Bring your camera!
Call to arrange your personal expedition. Have a particular destination in mind? A special time? A special place? We've done bird-watching tours, birthdays, fly fishing lessons, real estate tours... the sky's the limit.
If it's practical and sounds like fun, we're in! And, we'll arrange the details and pricing for your custom boat/kayak adventure.
